Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter ???
Since the start of the 'Summer' term at Easter we think we have had weather from all four seasons so 'The Gardening Club duties' have been taken over by the classes for just now as a result.
P2a, 2b and 2/3 are working on 'Food and the Environment' and as such, have been spending as much time as possible learning outdoors.
Most classes have now 'planted out' in their veg plots and sown their flower seeds.
Fingers crossed, the better recent weather continues and some of the salad crops will be ready for eating before the holidays.
The strawberries, blackberries, blackcurrants and blueberries are later than usual but are looking like we might get a healthy crop and as ever the herbs around the school always come back a treat this time of year.
